Health access is optional

With your permission, Attune reads heart rate variability (HRV) from Apple Health to show your patterns and compare readings around breathing practices. You can separately allow it to save practices as Mindfulness sessions. These calculations happen on your device; Health data is never used for advertising.

You can change either permission in Apple Health settings. Turning access off stops future access, but does not delete existing records. Breathing practice works without Health access.

Your records stay on your devices

Attune stores your practices, associated HRV readings, tags, notes, preferences, and basic export and deletion history locally. Your Watch sends completed practices to your paired iPhone using Apple’s services and keeps pending transfers until delivered. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

We do not keep a server copy of your history. Apple Health syncing and device backups may store copies under your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policies.

Export or delete your data

Records stay on your device until you delete them or remove the app’s data.

• Export: Settings → Data lets you export your records, including available HRV readings, notes, and preferences. You choose where files go. Anyone you share them with handles their copy under their own policies.
• Delete: “Delete local app data” clears your iPhone’s history, notes, saved preferences, and reminders. A deletion marker remains to stop old Watch sessions returning.

Deleting local data does not erase Apple Health records, exports, backups, or data still on your Watch. Manage those separately. If Health access stays on, Attune can read your Health history again.

There is no account to delete. We cannot view, restore, or erase records stored only on your devices.

GitHub Pages hosts this site and may process technical details such as your IP address under GitHub’s privacy statement. These pages have no analytics or advertising scripts.
