The software license.

Decrumb’s source is available under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 only (AGPL-3.0-only). The full license sets out your rights and conditions for using, changing, and redistributing it, including its warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability.

These pages do not replace that license or add restrictions. Bundled components keep their own licenses. See third-party notices and source provenance.

An early, independent app.

Decrumb is still in testing. Check the current download and requirements, and what’s being tested, before installing.

Decrumb is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Signal. It uses the unofficial signal-cli client. Signal owns its name and marks, and access to Signal remains subject to its terms and availability.

Changes to Signal may require app updates. Decrumb does not guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery of every cleaned link, or successful note removal. It is not an emergency or archival messaging system.

Your account and notes.

Link only an account you’re authorized to use. Decrumb sends automated notes only to Note to Self.

Removal requests cover eligible notes recorded by this installation, within the supported time window. A request does not guarantee erasure everywhere. Keep copies of anything you need before requesting removal.

Local data, sent notes, snapshots, and backups have separate lifetimes. Read the privacy details and cleanup help.
