Help & support

A little help with the heavy lifting.

How do I start without a Fitbod import?

Tap Start workout, then Add exercise. Choose from the built-in exercise library or create your own exercise. Enter your targets and tap a circle when you complete a set. Saved routines help you reuse a lineup.

How do I import my Fitbod history?

Save your Fitbod export in Files, then open Settings → Import workout file in Up Down. Both .txt and .csv files are supported. The importer preserves repeated sets and the original data fields. Files with a decade or more of history are supported; larger imports take longer.

Are workout times and supersets included in Fitbod files?

The supported Fitbod export includes workout timestamps and a duration field for each set, but it does not identify supersets or provide complete workout start and end timing. Up Down preserves available fields. You can label supersets yourself, and optionally import Fitbod workout timing saved in Apple Health. New workouts can record workout clocks, pauses, set timestamps, and measured set times.

Which export should I choose?

Text and CSV use the original 11 Fitbod columns by default. Enable Include supersets & circuits to add Up Down’s group and round columns. Whether Fitbod itself accepts these files for import is unverified. Choose Full backup (.pupd) to retain routines, exercise preferences, timing, and group information as well as your sets.

How do I move my log to another device?

In Settings, choose Full backup and Export workout history. Save the .pupd file in Files, move it to your other device, then choose Restore full backup there. Restoring replaces that device’s current log, so export a backup first if you want to keep it.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → Erase all data removes local workouts, imported Health timing, routines, preferences, sample logs, and recovery copies. Apple Health records and backups you saved outside the app remain under your control.

Up Down is an independent workout log. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fitbod.
