Terms of use

Effective September 15, 2026

Up Down is a free workout log provided by Matthew Kearney. App Store downloads use Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

App license

Your use of the iOS app is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Up Down does not supply a separate custom EULA. That agreement covers the app license, permitted use, warranties, and limitations subject to applicable law.

What Up Down does

Up Down records workouts and displays your exercise history. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or prescribe an exercise program. You decide which activities and loads are appropriate for you.

Your records and backups

Your log is stored locally. You control imports, exports, backups, and deletion. Keep a full backup before replacing or erasing a log. We cannot restore data that was stored only on your device.

Import compatibility

Up Down supports the documented Fitbod text/CSV export fields. Available timing and other information depends on the source file and any optional Apple Health import. Superset labels are not inferred from the standard Fitbod export. An export in the same column format does not guarantee that another app will accept it.

Independent app

Up Down is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fitbod. Other product names identify compatible formats or services and belong to their respective owners.

Privacy and support

Read the privacy policy for data handling. For help, contact hello@mkships.app or visit Up Down support.
